Selling a Glovebox – Here’s How the Purchase Works
Do you have a used glove box that you no longer need? We buy equipment from all manufacturers—offering a fair appraisal, disassembly, pickup, and proper disposal, all from a single source.
A decommissioned glove box is rarely scrap. High-quality components can be reused, and a functional unit often finds a new home. Instead of scrapping it, selling it is worth it—for you and for the environment.
What We Buy
We purchase used gloveboxes from all manufacturers (including MBraun, GS Glovebox, Jacomex/Inert)—with or without gas purification systems. Individual components, such as gas purification systems, are also of interest. Whether your unit is still operational or in need of overhaul plays a role in the valuation but is not a deal-breaker.
Here’s how the purchase process works
- Details & Photos: You provide us with the manufacturer, model, condition, and features—ideally with a few photos.
- Appraisal: We’ll make you a fair, transparent offer.
- Dismantling & Pickup: We professionally dismantle the system and pick it up.
- Disposal, if necessary: Filters and piping are properly decontaminated and disposed of.
Everything from a single source
You’ll have a single point of contact for the entire process—from the evaluation to pickup. We give high-quality components a second life; the rest is disposed of properly. You can find details on the Recycling & Purchasing page. If the system needs to be restored to top condition before resale, our Refurbishment & Decontamination service can help.
Selling a Glovebox: Frequently Asked Questions
Do you also buy gloveboxes that are defective or in need of repair?
Yes. The condition affects the valuation, but it is not a disqualifying factor. We can also purchase individual components, such as gas scrubbers.
Do you handle disassembly and pickup?
Yes, both. We professionally dismantle the system, pick it up, and—if necessary—properly dispose of the filters and piping. We handle everything under one roof.
What information do you need to provide a quote?
Manufacturer, model, approximate age, condition, and features—preferably with a few photos. This will allow us to provide a fair estimate.
